Travel advice, vaccinations and immunisations

If you are planning to travel abroad, we recommend seeking travel health advice well in advance of your trip. Some vaccinations require a course of treatment and it can take up to 8 weeks for full protection to develop.

For this reason, we recommend planning at least 3 months before you travel wherever possible.

Travel Health Advice

Different countries have different health risks and vaccination requirements.

Travel Vaccination Consultations

We recommend booking a travel consultation with a specialist travel clinic to discuss the vaccinations required for your trip.

Local providers include:

Boots Travel Health, The Willows, Torquay

📞 01803 615874

Exeter Travel Clinic

📞 01392 430590

The travel clinic will advise which vaccinations and medicines are recommended for your destination.

Your Vaccination History

We can provide a printout of your vaccination history to take to your travel consultation if required.

This can help the travel clinic determine which vaccinations you may already have received.
