ADHD

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) can affect concentration, organisation, activity levels and impulse control.

If you think you or your child may have ADHD, there are assessment and support services available.

ADHD assessment pathways

There are currently two referral pathways for ADHD assessment.

NHS ADHD Assessment Service

Referrals can be made to the Devon Adult ADHD Assessment Service (DANNA).

Psychiatry UK

Psychiatry UK offers ADHD assessments through the Right to Choose pathway.

This pathway may have shorter waiting times but requires questionnaires to be completed by you and someone who knows you well.

Please note that an assessment through Psychiatry UK does not automatically mean the practice will be able to prescribe medication following diagnosis.
